Peace Love Laughter 2019

Hi frens πŸ’‹

We are at the edge of 2019 and eagerly waiting for 2020 where we can see cars flying on the airπŸ˜†.  Of course 2019 has been one of the greatest journey full of PEACE LOVE & LAUGHTER with little difficulties.

Let me share some of my precious sweet and bitter memories in 2019.

31st Dec 2018, I was having my final paper and it ends at 10.00pm.  After finished the exam i rushed to home and had a quick bath and we move from home around 11.00pm.  We plan to go KLCC to watch d fireworks but we couldn't make it because it was massive jam near Jalan ...... (dunno).  We stop at roadside and watch the fireworks.  It was very clear view and i was very happy although we couldn't make it to KLCC. So that's how we start our Year of 2019.

My own philosophy, New Year i must watch fireworks because i feel happy and all the colorful fireworks are sign of colorful beginning of the year.  I fell excited and feels like surrounded with positive people where u can see people screaming and laughing wishing people they know and strangers without any boundaries.

Then middle of May i got the transfer that i was waiting so long.  Yes I've been working in PDRM since  Jan 2002 and i tried to move out from that place few times but i failed.  When u work for long time in same place u will start to feel demotivated and boring.  Actually i was quite shocked when received the phone call from JPA that i got the transfer coz it was just a month (new application) i applied for opt out from PDRM.  It was a good move in my career where i totally experience a different working style and people. I'm placed under Ministry of Health and starts from zero and now by God Grace I've managed to survive.  A busy place where u meet many people with so many of charactersπŸ˜›.

Other happy moments in 2019 are, one of my closest friend get married in February, i went to Bali (my wishlist) and challenged my self to finish 10KM fun run and yes i  succeeded.  Manage to bought rattan bag that i was eyeing for quite some time.  I wish to go again Bali 1 more time and spend d whole holiday at beach side. Their beaches are extremely beautiful.

2019 opens a new window where I got the opportunity to work and travel to Terengganu twice, Sarawak and a life time experience travel in private Yacht to Pulau Ketam.

For the first time i went to Art Expo in Kuala Lumpur and its totally for 'have2' people and not my cup of tea. Oh ya after d expo i and my friend had a  nightmare at d Duta Toll Gate😜 where we spend 40 minutes finding TnG card.  Year 2019 too witnessed my graduation.  For ur info all my graduation robes are maroon starting from Diploma till Master.  I guess maroon is my lucky colorπŸ˜‰. This is my first year too watching Merdeka parade.  It was totally a new experience for me.

Now we move on to little bitter memories that I've gone through this year.  First my father undergo bypass surgery in IJN.  Thank God everything was fine but of coz u will have the most emotional feeling when your loved ones having a though time.  At that period too, my car had an accident where someone hit me and i go up on the divider.  One of my tyre flatten, my side mirror gone, 3 of my rims gone.  Luckily i left no injuries but till now i still have the trauma where i can't see side mirrors where i feel the cars that approaching in right lane like hitting me. Only few people in my previous office and friends knew about it.  I have upload in whatsapp status only i guess.  Some heard from others and 'tanya khabar' some just buat dunno although they knew.  Lesson learnt.

And the saddest thing for this year is i lost / misplaced 2 of my gold  bracelet and  a pair of earrings.  I remember i was holding it to keep in a safe place but i forgot where i kept it till now.  U know what, there are many time I've wrongly throw money and things in dustbin. I even throw my purse in dustbin and was searching for it like hell the day I'm going to Bali.  I guess I'm losing my memory power.  2 days before i went to sleep without locking my door and left the key hanging there😞

So 2019 was a roller coaster but i treasured all the good memories and bad memories as a lesson. Thank God, 2019 was really a blessed year compared to 2017 and 2018.  I'm a simple women who lived in my own world.  I never obsessed with luxury lifestyle.  I like to do what  I like to do.  I never plan i want to do this and that.  I just follow the flow.  A happy go lucky who don't bother about others.  Oh ya, my husband thought me a good lesson too, where he advise me, spend to those who care and love you only, give priority to yourself then only think about others.  All this while I think and put others first but yes his advice was an eye opener for me.  That's  the day where i broke all my piggy bank and buy something for me.  Actually i was saving it for someone's function in future but on my birthday I broke my old theory and write a new theory.   I guess most of women out there is like myself.  We give so much important to many things and surrounding people rather than giving importance to our self and our need.  Come out from that thinking.  Live your life, love your family and good friends, then only think about others.  I promise you will feel more appreciated and happy.

At the moment , I only have one list  to do in 2020, I want to visit my parents at least 2 month once.  That day my amma said Mr Mani was mumbling  that our neighbors kids visiting their parents at least once a month, I feel shattered after heard it.  We can never buy the time that we spend with our parents.  They are the most valuable gift that we have.  So that's the only plan i have for now.

Quite exciting and looking forward to see what 2020 is going to treat us.  I'm sure it will be more colorful, memorable and sweet as the number 2020 itself look unique and special.  See u all next year.

RUMAH PERSEKUTUAN FRASER HILL

Hi semua...

Penghujung 2019 dah baru nak teringat pasal blog ni.

So lepas ambik kunci, parking kereta kat bawah banglo je, parking tepi banglo pun banyak juga. kami duk Banglo A, bilik atas. Balcony nampak playground n hutan sikit.

Balcony

Masa check out pulang balik kunci kat pondok yang kita check in tu dan sign borang semua.  Selepas sebulan dua dapatlah deposit RM50 yang kita bayar masa booking bilik ni online.

AFTERNOON TEA AT STRIPES

Sept 2 is my partner in crime's birthday. I choose this hotel after saw few local artist share about this place on IG. We arrived late around 4.20pm as booking made at 4pm πŸ˜… and unfortunately all the window seat has been taken. It was full house that day and the staff said that they will hold the booking for half an hour only if not informed of any changes.

First we were served with a welcome drink (i forget the name) its a mix of apple juice and cucumber (taste yummy) followed by an explanation about the concept of their afternoon tea.

WELCOME DRINK
We started with savory treats which served in nice copper holder. There were 3 pieces of each items.

SAVORY TREAT

Oh...before that they took order on the drinks. i ordered hot chocolate and Raj ordered latte.  Both were nice and we repeat😜. They din refill in the same cup but make a new one each time u repeat..I LIKE IT πŸ˜‰

HOT CHOCOLATE

Then comes the best part....sinful FRENCH PASTRIES in a tray.

FRENCH PASTRIES

The staff explain each of the pastries name and ask us to pick our favorite.  i choose almost all except the biscotti, lime meringue and madeleine.  The macaron were one of the best I've tasted so far.  Not overly sweet, correct amount of filling and fresh raspberries nailed it.  All the pastries taste divine except in the spoon one (dunno the name) πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„. The good news is we can reload our tummy as much as we want till burst ha ha ha.

BIRTHDAY MAN

Definitely a memorable afternoon tea experience with delectable dishes and tentative staffs. Faster grab their  BUY 1 FREE I promotion for RM80 before it ends.

Day Trip to Bahau

My husband and I spontaneously decided to plan a trip to Bahau after saw Rasikka Rusikka (eatery show).  So we plan a trip with his brother family on christmas eve.  The journey started around 9.00am after we had a breakfast at nearby mamak shop.

We use LEKAS highway and the journey took approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. We reach  Nasi Ayam Singapore shop which is the MAIN ATTRACTION for this trip around 11am. We ordered 4 plates of chicken rice which RM5 each plate.  The chicken rice was nice with decent portion and the specialty of this chicken rice is it is served with fried ginger. Currently Nasi Ayam Singapore shop located near Kiara Square.  It is a row of hawkers shop selling variety of foods.

In the same row of the shop, we ordered jelly ice which also featured in the Rasikka Rusikka show.  The jelly ice consist of Jelly mixed with shaved ice and condensed milk, top off with a dash of lime.
Nasi Ayam Singapore (RM5)

Jelly Ice (RM3)

After our lunch, we went to Teratak Za'Ba which is located in Batu Kikir.   Teratak Za'ba is a museum dedicated to a Malay writer, Zainal Abidin bin Ahmad, better known as Za’ba. We have a quick stop at Cendol  Waghih to enjoy cendol durian. The cendol was satisying for RM8 per bowl.
Cendol Waghih (RM8)

Then we continue our journey to Seri Menanti museum in Kuala Pilah but unfortunately it was closed for repair and upgrading works.

We stopped at Ulu bendul recreational park for our second lunch.  We ate at one of the shop in the food court.  They serve nasi lemak, 'goreng-goreng' and negeri sembilan's signature menu 'ikan keli / daging/ ayam salai masak lemak'.

We bought some fruits and snacks at the stalls at the parking.  We started our journey back to Kajang around 5.30pm and reach Kajang by 6.40pm.  We 'tapoa' personal pizza at Pizza Hut and thats the end of our trip to Bahau.

Roughly Expenses (4 person)

Toll              RM16.60
Breakfast         RM16.00
Chicken rice      RM23.00
Jelly ice         RM12.00
Cendol            RM24.00
Lunch             RM31.50

LANGKAWI

We start our journey from Sitiawan at 5.50am and reach kuala kedah jetty around 10am.  We parked our car beside kuala kedah jetty parking.  The parking fee is RM15 per day. Do not follow 'ulat parking' because they will charge extra.

Ticket fare from kuala kedah to langkawi is RM23 for adults and RM14 for OKU/senior citizen.  After purchase the ticket, we have to register our details in computer inside the waiting lounge.  All tickets has seat number so no rushing although its crowd.

I've made an online booking through big thumb travel & tours for transportation in langkawi.  U have to pay RM200 booking fee for confirmation and balance can be paid once reach langkawi.  We rented Innova for RM330 for 2 days and refundable security deposit RM200 to be paid upon taking the car.  There are many  car rental counter near langkawi jetty but its better to make booking before your arrival.  Personally i'm satisfied with the service of this company because they upgrade free new van for us after we complained our Innova aircond having problem. πŸ‘

I've made hotel booking through AGODA.  The rate for 2 days were RM369.26.  I book 3 rooms apartment.  Unfortunately after check in only i realize there's only 1 bathroom .  Personally i wont recommend this hotel.  The toilet was not clean.  All the doors has cracky sound whenever u open and close.  Their bed has wheels and it's keep on moving whenever you want to turn. However their reception staffs were very friendly and helpful.  Overall NO for this hotel.πŸ‘Ž  There's a Tourist Tax RM1 per day / per room.  I paid RM2 for 2 days.

We went to cable car ride in the evening.  The ticket price is RM30 inlusive of entrance to Skydome, Skyrex & 3D Art langkawi.  Upon reach the top, u have to purchase RM5 ticket to walk to the sky bridge or u can pay RM15 to take lift to the bridge.  According to the  staffs there is more than 300 steps to reach the sky bridge.  We took lift because our parents cant walk and  we wait around 3 trips for our turn.  There's only 1 lift to carry the passengers.

Other places entrance fee are:-

  πŸ‘‰   Mahkam Mahsuri  RM12
πŸ‘‰  Air Hangat Village RM5 ( HIGHLY RECOMENDED)
  πŸ‘‰   Beras terbakar free
  πŸ‘‰  Kilang Gamat free

We plan not to go to island hoping because our parents might not like it.  So we just go to the places that no need to walk much.  We did our shopping near the kuah town, Hj ismail group, langkawi jetty and Teow Soon Huat Duty Free. Oh ya u can buy ritter sport rum and raisin chocolate here πŸ˜‹

Overall it was a fun trip.  Although i've been to langkawi few time but this is my first trip with my family.  We had good family time.

 LOVE LANGKAWI

This place featured in JJCM in TV3 and now located in new place at Batu 9, Jln Pantai PD.  Honestly i feel the chicken and sauce taste so so only and rice portion was very little.  The set comes with rice, roasted chicken and soup. RUMAH PERANGINAN PERSEKUTUAN - PUTERI BEACH RESORT PORT DICKSON

Puteri Beach Resort

Welcome back to reality after 5 days free leave.

Compare to original price memang sangat berbaloi.

Selepas log in click di bahagian RP Premier / Eksekutif - tempahan baru.

Next nak try Morib pulak. Cari date2 yang sesuai dan available.

Peace Love Laughter 2019

Hi frens πŸ’‹ We are at the edge of 2019 and eagerly waiting for 2020 where we can see cars flying on the airπŸ˜†.  Of course 2019 has been ...
